Five Against the World

Anyway, before I begin with the description, let me say...
THANK YOU ALL FOR 5 YEARS ON DEVIANTART!  
It's so hard to believe that 5 years ago, I found up this website. Anyway, as some of you remember, this is my unofficial dA anniversary (I started on March 21, 2010 as flamesonDVD32717, so I'd have to wait until June 30 for my official). Anyway, despite literally everything that's happened to me the past 5 years, I can't believe the times we all have shared (in one way or another ^^).

So to say thanks, here is a pic with five people represented in it. I will tell you about them now:

Renee-Moonveil (represented by Amy Rose and Jet the hawk) -- Like almost everyone else at the time, I met this cool artist from looking randomly for art. At the time, I believe she was doing what she was known for at the time (since her username at the time was of course jemylover). Even now, she still does awesome art and I even consider her an inspiration for quite a few things. Recently, her art is focused on the Koopalings. It's quite nice. Go check it out if you have the chance. But yeah, this person's awesome.
sheezy93 (represented by her character, Sidra the rabbit) -- Well, she's been here the longest out of all 5 of us, but I still feel like I've known her longer than I have. Anyway, just like Renee-Moonveil, I was looking on random art and stumbled upon hers. After leaving her a comment saying she had pretty cool art, she surprised me a few days later with a picture of her and my character. I thought that was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. And hence, we've been the best friends ever since. Dear pinkuusagi Shidora~ (pink rabbit Sidra), thank you for sticking by me the past 5 years. ^^
DatFMCobalion (represented by my character, Devon the fox) -- Yes, that's my character! You may notice that the old "red fox" design is making a comeback, and indeed it is (but I'll probably still use my Absol design every now and then). Kinda like my dad tells me that me and my brothers are like pieces of his own personality, Devon (and the other two main characters I have, Adrian TK and Katelyn) are pieces of my own personality. But yeah, hard to believe Devon's first incarnation was a green hedgehog (which didn't last long, of course).
TwilightMoon1996 (represented by her character, Yori Saito) -- I came across this cool little artist and I thought she was a nifty little artist. But to say she's made a huge improvement the past 5 years is a major understatement. She is an artist that has skills she's developed quite well. ^^
PrototypeTheory [formerly known as DarkNeoZero] (represented by his character, Nero the wolf) -- Though I met him the latest out of the other 3 represented (I still met everyone in the same year), I thought he had probably the coolest designs in his characters (and I still do, pretty good that you put a lot of attention to detail ^^). I feel like I could relate to this guy since he's had demons to fight like I had (and let me take the time to apologize to you, man, for not really being around to talk about stuff the past year or two. I guess when real life takes over, you have to fight to remember those you really care about). But yeah, check this guy out because he's got cool character designs.

Anyway, the idea, of course, I got from the Story of the Year song "Five Against the World" (since those 4 lines are from the song itself). I wanted to give a formal thank you to these people who have influenced me, stuck around, and basically for being that much awesome. You guys make my time in deviantART irreplaceable. ^^

Yes, I know there are inconsistencies galore in the characters (if you spot them), but this was a pretty time-consuming piece that I put in my best effort to do. In all, it took 21 hours to complete (1 hour for the pencil line, 1 hour for the pen line, 14 hours for the Illustrator line, and 5 hours for the color), which is the longest I've had to spend on an art piece to date. Either way, I hope you all like it, and here's to what lies ahead for all of us. ^^
